Fern and Sky

This fabric is made from organic cotton, in double gauze weave. It is soft and has a crinkled appearance. Although made from organic cotton, it stands out from regular cotton due to its unique double gauze design. Basically, two layers of thin cotton are weaved together to obtain a slightly opaque finish while retaining the softness and flowy nature of cotton. This fabric is lightweight and absorbent. As it is made from organic cotton, which is a natural fiber, it can bond well with eco printing and provide beautiful prints. This fabric drapes beautifully and is apt for summer/spring wardrobe. It is also widely used to construct home furnishings like curtains and bedsheets as well.

This is created through a rare "Contact Print" process. We hand-lay real, fallen leaves onto organic cotton double gauze fabric, binding them with steam to draw out their natural indigo pigments dip dye on the edges.

There are no printers, no screens, and no synthetic chemicals—just the raw, haunting beauty of nature’s own ink.
