Sappan wood is a multipurpose tree used not just for extracting dyeing powder but also for medicinal properties, thus giving us natural dyes with medicinal plant properties.
In many cultures, many create Ayurvedic medicines due to its' antibacterial and anticoagulant properties.
Its powder is one of the most sustainable sources of natural dyes as the trees reproduce quickly by seed and grow fast.

Shade: Red, Purple and Orange

Dyeing: Use indigo extract at approximately 20 to 40% to the weight of the fabric.
For rich colour use more percentage, as the results may vary as per percentage used of dyeing extract and the fabric composition.
