Galnut Extract: Gallnut, also known as Oak Gall.
The gallnuts from the oak tree are one of the richest and oldest forms of natural tanning, and this is because the oak trees in themselves excrete a tannin-rich substance that hardens and forms a gallnut. It is the most prosperous source of clear tannin.
Gallnut extract can be used as a mordant and natural dye.
Shade: Beige, Grey
Dyeing and Mordant: Use indigo extract at approximately 7 to 12% to the weight of the fabric.
The results may vary as per percentage used and the fabric composition.
